daappa/Solutions/Deployment & Managed Services
Deployment, operations & assurance

Same platform.
Two operating boundaries.

daappa runs under one ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified operating model, delivered two ways. dMS is a dedicated, daappa-operated Azure private cloud. dIS installs the platform inside your own infrastructure where data residency or a regulator-mandated perimeter applies. Same application, same governance — a different line on the responsibility matrix.

The two service models

Choose where the platform runs

The decision is almost always driven by where data is allowed to sit. Both models deliver the same daappa Core and Studio+ application and the same governance posture.

dMS · Managed

daappa Managed Service

A dedicated Azure private cloud, operated end to end by daappa. Application, infrastructure, security monitoring, backup and disaster recovery all sit inside the daappa information security management system. Your team uses the service; we own the platform underneath it.

Best where your operating model can accept a daappa-hosted Azure private cloud — the faster, lower-friction path.
dIS · Installed

daappa Installed Service

The platform deployed as a containerised workload inside your own infrastructure. No portfolio data, document content or LLM inference leaves your environment. Used where data residency, sovereign-cloud or regulator-mandated on-premise is required.

Best where a data-residency, sovereign-cloud or regulator-mandated perimeter applies.
Shared responsibility

Clear boundaries, no grey zones

Every layer has a named owner from day one — the same model written into the operating procedures, the support SLA and the DR runbook.

Three resilience tiers, one governance posture

Application, governance and security are identical across tiers. They differ in headroom, DR model and the target RTO / RPO we operate to. Tier selection is reviewed annually against your business impact assessment.

dIS · installed service

The full platform, inside your infrastructure

Docker-based deployment on Linux; all platform components run inside your network, with outbound internet for usage metering only. The LLM layer runs as your in-house model via internal API, an air-gapped daappa-deployed LLM on a client GPU server, or an ML-only path with no LLM.

The architectural commitment

No portfolio data, document content or LLM inference leaves your environment

dIS is the model used for regulated institutional clients in the Middle East, EU and UK. Equivalent regimes in other jurisdictions are accommodated on the same architectural basis.

Standards & assurance

Certified controls, audited annually

One externally audited management system covers both models — the difference is only which party operates which layer.
